2009 IN MOTION..........

Welcome to my new blog with latest news on my recent photography projects. Looking back at some of the jobs over 2009 it's been a busy year working on new and exciting commissions. After a three month program in Southern India with youth development charity Raleigh 2009 kick started working on a personal project to search out India's finest snowy climates in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Endeavouring to explore the remote and rugged Himalayan terrain, passing Delhi, the Taj Mahal and Rishikesh, the town were the Beatles reputably recorded their White Album, it was certainly a change to the pristine European resorts.

Back on English soil and teaming up with dalikfodda to shoot their second European 'Shit House Rock Tour' through out the Alps. Over three weeks the dalikfodda entourage stormed five resorts in three countries, joined by London's very own JettBlack, Leeds finest Gentleman's Pistols and Jamie Lynn's band - Kandi Coded. Supported by Dragon Alliance, Vans and Vestal Watches. Early April I began shooting for Mike Weyerheaseur and JDP Images at the UK's premier ski and snowboarding competition The Brits in Laax, Switzerland. During this week I teamed with Westbeach Clothing for a photo-shoot of their UK snowboarding team.

With winter drawing to a close and the annual snowboard test in Austria finished, much of spring was spent back in Suffolk, working on various commissions from photo-shoots for Breast Cancer Campaign to food photography and sporting events within East Anglia. As summer sprang into light, I headed to the warm coastal shores of Cornwall to produce material for Mike Weyerhaesuers Sport Agency at the legendary Relentless Boarmasters event held in Newquay. Concentrating on the freestyle sporting events, I also teamed up with co-event organisers Vans who organised various shoots included one for Sugar Magazine and an early morning surf-fitness regime for Men's Health. September involved working on a number of commissions within London, beginning with a new client, Podium Skills. The event was held at Hoxton's Open Kitchen where special guest and GQ chef of the year Mark Hix cooked for an audience and Olympic Bronze medalist Tasha Danvers take part in open discussion. While late September I teamed up with Breast Cancer Campaign for another event, this time in Regents Park the campaigns annual Pink Aerobics workout to mark the start of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness mon

th. Over 700 supporters came along all dressed in pink to show there support. Charlie Brook is just one of there many strong supporters.
